The Safety Harbor Pier

Saw many visitors in years past. Travel by boat was very normal and at one time rails went down the pier to help transport luggage. The pier has seen dancing under the stars, I have watching manates eat the sea grass, and fishing is very common. From the far end Tampa can be seen. At one time a car was set on fire, so the story goes. This is why two large yellow cement posts were, at one time at the start of the pier.
