The FFA in Loma/Fruita chapter has 55 youth members and over a half a million nationwide. The FFA motto is: learning to do, Doing to learn, Learning to live, and living to serve! FFA gives you many opportunities in careers in agriculture and food. In Loma and Fruita’s FFA they buy an animal and raise it to sell in the mesa county fair. The FFA members have to be qualified for FFA such as having good grades and being a good person in the community! The animals in the fair that you can sell are Sheep, Goats, Pigs, Rabbits, Chickens, and turkeys! |
